The beat goes on .. in China

Get this one: the Xinhua news agency sounds a note from the old days: "Dalai's coterie's secessionist attempts doomed to fail". Who the heck uses the word coterie? It is a riveting event, to see Tibetians rise up against their Chinese oppressors. The Chinese authorities respond by trying to suppress freedom's uprising and by using words such as coterie. Is this doomed? I think so. Suppressing people's yearning for freedom is impossible in the Internet Age.
