Library work redux

A question from a patron about the Casa Loma Band reminds me how many thing I do not know; researching it gives me some new knowledge (jazz band from Detroit formed in the 1920s). That is the beauty of being a librarian: knowing how to find information I know nothing about, helping a patron (in this case a college student) find information she needs, and along the way learning something. A good ending to the day.
