South American Leaders Agree to End Border Crisis

This one strikes close to my heart. Born in Colombia, I retain feelings for the country. Though I consider Chavez a thug and a jerk, I do recognize his abilities as a politician (even as I am amazed at his temerity). Correa is a minor leaguer, far as I'm concerned. Ortega? Been there, done that. I have come to respect, even (grudgingly) admire, Uribe. In the end, Colombia killed one of its primary enemies and weathered a tempest in a teapot. That a settlement came so quickly is, of course, proof that the Gang of Three had the slimmest of cases, if that.
