An Old Hometown Mentor, and Still at Obama’s Side

An interesting piece. I particularly liked this sentence:

“What Valerie developed is the art of telling people to go to hell and making them look forward to the trip,” said Mr. Jordan, who advised his wife’s cousin throughout the campaign.

I remember Vernon Jordan in the Urban League ages ago. He has moved up inot the stratosphere of American politics.
