Venezuela Breaks Off Ties
CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — Venezuela said Wednesday that it had broken off diplomatic relations with Israel to protest its military offensive in Gaza. The decision by President Hugo Chávez’s government came more than a week after it expelled the Israeli ambassador. Bolivia also broke off relations with Israel.
