Epidemic's cost

CANSANCIO A la izquierda, el secretario de Salud, días antes de la contingencia; a la derecha, el costo de encabezar el manejo de la epidemia de la influenza A | Ver nota

I have not commented on the swine flu, renamed the influenza A(H1N1), also referred to as the influenza epidemic. Two weeks ago a general panic swirled, and Mexico, being the suspected epicenter, suffered another body-blow to its name.

But this picture really caught my eye. It appeared in El Universal's website today. The Minister of Health, Jos , is pictured here: on the left, days before the contagion; on the right, the cost of managing the response is apparent.
