El País, Madrid's leftist newspaper, has an article about Una pregunta incómoda - An uncomfortable question.
The lefty paper is so damned chauvinistic, it actually makes me feel for Clinton junior. Get this example of lefty Spanish journalism: Chelsea Clinton, muy implicada en la campaña de su madre para alzarse con la candidatura demócrata a la Casa Blanca, ha demostrado que sabe sacar las uñas para responder a preguntas que considera indiscretas, como ha podido comprobar un estudiante que le preguntó sobre el asunto Lewinsky, que años atrás tanto quebraderos de cabeza dio a su padre, Bill Clinton, y que a punto estuvo de acabar con su carrera política.
My translation: Chelsea, very involved in her mother's campaign to raise herself to the Democratic candidacy for the White House, has shown that she knows how to take out/show her nails/claws to answer questions she considers indiscreet, as proven by a student who asked her about the Lewinsky matter, which years back gave her father, Bill Clinton, headaches, and almost ended his political career.
Nails? Claws? This is the newspaper that calls women chicas, as in chicks, girls, and not mujeres, as in women. Ay-ya-ya-ya-yay!
